Rachel Lansden wins $200 after winning the Dore/Cow Bracketbuster Challenge

By Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — Rachel Lansden is the winner of the 2023 Dore/Cow Bracketbuster Challenge.
Lansden is a self-proclaimed “non-basketball” fan who filled out the bracket at the last minute because she was encouraged to do so. She won the contest by one point – thanks to picking Connecticut and Gonzaga and Creighton into the final eight.
Her winning pick? Furman over Virginia. She made that pick because she had a relative named Furman.
So what is she planning on doing with the $200?
“Well, the first thing I’m going to do is to go to Sonic,” she said today.
And we are just 11 months and three weeks away from next year’s tournament.
