Residents can bid in a silent auction for a piano at Sterling House to help raise money for Alzheimer’s awareness

Sterling House Wellington PianoSubmitted to Sumner Newscow — Sterling House Wellington’s residents were blessed with a gift of a new piano from one of the amazing volunteers working there

For this reason Sterling House is doing a silent auction for the piano. All proceeds of this silent auction will be given to the Alzheimer’s Association during the Walk to End Alzheimer’s held annually at the Wellington Fall Festival.

Silent bids will be taken by Nikki Lira by calling 620-506-1390 or by email at nlira@brookdaleliving.com. Bidding will close at Noon on Friday April 4, 2014.

The piano is an electric player piano, very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, Sterling House officials have not been able to locate the brand or the age of it. People are welcome to stop by Sterling House Wellington to view the piano if they wish.
