Rita Kathleen “Kathy” Knapp, 66, died on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 and now resides with her savior Jesus Christ and the who have gone before her in heaven.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday July 28 at the Brookhaven Baptist Church in Andover. Burial will be in the Oxford Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 27 with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. also at the Brookhaven Baptist Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Wellington. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society or the Brookhaven Baptist Church.

Rita Kathleen was born on April 20, 1949 the daughter of William Clarence and Eva Irene (Everman) Bryant in Wichita, Kansas. Kathy was a 1967 graduate of the Derby High School. She was united in marriage with Don Eugene Blair and to this union one daughter; Martha Lynn (Blair) Snyder was born. She worked at Furr’s Cafeteria as a cashier. Kathy later worked at Employers Mutual Insurance as a claim’s and records clerk here she me the love of her life David Mark Knapp and was happily married on January 15, 2004 at the Hoppalong Cassidy Museum at the Prairie Rose Chuck Wagon Supper.

Kathy is survived by her husband David Knapp of Wichita, daughter Martha Snyder and husband Steve of Wichita and precious baby dog Diesel Bill. She will continue to be loved and missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
