Sammie is the Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week
Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Sammie.
“Hocus pocus, alakazam, come adopt me as soon as you can!” Sammie is trying to cast a spell on you! She is almost ready for Halloween, all she needs now is a cozy home! Sammie is a super sweet girl who would love a quieter home to relax and cuddle in. She would make an excellent companion to help you hand out candy to trick-or-treaters!
Stop in this week to meet this special pet. The shelter is open Wednesday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process. WHS officials go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off cats during their week!
