Shawn Frazee

Shawn Joseph Frazee, a loving father, talented electrician, and cherished member of the Wellington community, was born on January 7, 1975, in Wellington. A man who could light up a room with his keen sense of humor, Shawn was known for his funny stories and quick wit. His smart and sharp mind was evident in the way he tackled his work, his hobbies, and the many challenges life threw his way.

Shawn was a gifted individual with a multitude of talents. After graduating from high school, he attended culinary school and used his skills as a chef at Katherine’s Tearoom.

He later transitioned into the field of electrical work, mastering the trade. Always one to keep his mind and hands busy, Shawn enjoyed golfing, watching movies with his “movie crew” on opening nights, and partaking in gaming. His love for dogs, especially Great Danes, was known by all who knew him.

The most important aspect of Shawn’s life was his family. His love for his children, Tanner and Angel, and his dog, Nala Blue, was evident in all that he did. His entrepreneurial spirit, loyalty, and dedication to those he loved were qualities that his family and friends greatly admired.

Shawn’s memory will be cherished by his mother, Debra (Bill Stroud) Frazee; his children, Tanner (Shelby) Frazee and Angel (Braiden) Buresh; his siblings, Amy (Jason) Walker and Jeff (Jennifer) Berryman; his grandchildren, Arkham and Valinor Buresh; and his nieces and nephews, Siarah (Luke) Cole, Keven Walker, and Brittany (William) Staley.

Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Frazee; his grandparents, Charles Mac and Betty McMillan, Butch and Phyliss Morris, and Neal Frazee.

A visitation will be held for Shawn on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 1 to 7 p.m., with family present from 5 to 7 p.m. at Cornejo Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 1030 Mission Road, Wellington, Kansas, 67152.
