In Heaven with her beloved Albert

I share the spirit of a woman who was not only my mom but an unwavering beacon of strength.  Reflecting on the tapestry of her 89 years, each thread represents the countless lives she touched and the everyday moments she transformed into memories that will forever reside in our hearts. Mom was the Queen of Christmas, a title she wore joyfully, to her, December wasn’t just a month, it was a time to breathe magic into the ordinary.  Mom’s favorite gig in life was that of being a Mamma. She was THAT mamma, the one at McDonalds, having coffee with friends, sharing all the latest pics of all her grands.

Preceded in death: Elwood Howe (father) Albert France (husband) Jowan Grosvenor (sis) Bill Howe (brother) Ryan Stimpfl Sr (grandson)  

Survived by: Jude and Howie Dawson (daughter), Lou and Kay France (BIL)  

Grandchildren: Heather and Tim Norris, Geoff Elkins, Shellye and Clint Weber, Amanda Ferdon, Derek Ferdon, Julie Skidmore, Heather and Tim Cramer, Samantha Dawson, Shanna and Travis Alexander

A visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., Thursday, October 10, 2024 in the chapel of Cornejo Funeral Home, Wellington, KS. Funeral services will immediately follow and begin at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will take place at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Wellington, KS.
