Michael Gracy is an Award Winning Christian country singer/songwriter, voted by the Branson Gospel Singer/Songwriter Association as  The ”New Horizons Male Vocalist” -” 2013″, and “Top 5 Finalist for Songwriter, and Instrumentalist” -” 2013″, who became interested in music at a young age and was influenced by his fiddle-playing granddad and guitar-playing neighbor. He has also been a Top 5 Finalist Agape Fest “Trail Blazer Music Evangelist-2011, and a Top 10 Finalist “CCMA Awards” Music Evangelist-2005, and recipient of the “ Excellence in Music and Ministry Award” by the CCMA in 2004.

Gracy’s dad bought him a guitar at 14 years old. He started playing in a rock band at 15 and played in it during high school. While attending college, he hooked up with another band and played until he graduated.  Mike stopped playing shortly after getting married. About 25 years later, his church’s pastor found out that he could play the guitar. The pastor had him play in church and sing with the choir. His pastor suggested that he start writing songs, telling about how Jesus made a difference in his life.

Mike felt the call of ministry and started in the ministry process of the church. While going to lay speaking seminars, he became acquainted with other ministers and lay speakers. They started inviting him to their churches to perform and this turned into a full-time Christian country music ministry.

Mike  and his wife, Sandy, have traveled from Nashville to California and all points in between performing his original self-penned songs in a variety of churches, cowboy churches, and Nursing Homes, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is an ordained minister and fills the pulpit for preachers from time to time.

His relationship with God has completely turned his life around. Mike gives God all the praise and glory for inspiring his latest album, “He Writes the Song.”
