Oxford baseball team dominates Sedan
Oxford dominated Sedan 14-9 and 17-2 on Monday evening.
Oxford head coach Kyle Green states:
It was good to get a sweep yesterday over traditional power Sedan. We are young in some spots this year, especially our pitching staff. But we’ve continued to get better and make improvements as the year has gone on. Senior Tucker Ruyle threw a gem in game 1, going the distance in 3 innings. Our offense got on track and took care of business.
Freshman Micah Reeves continued his solid start to the season in Game 2, moving to 4-0 on the mound in the start. Pearson Rush came in in middle relief and was solid; Tucker Ruyle closed the game out.
Oxford is 6-7 on the season.
Stats for the two games: Oxford 14 Sedan 9
