Sumner Newscow report — Two items of interest association with Sumner Regional Medical Center:

•The SRMC Health Care Authority Board will be meeting at 7:30 a.m. on August 20 instead of noon. The meeting will still be held in the SRMC Board Room.

•There will be a benefit bake sale for Lisa Herring, who is going to the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Clinic in Houston. The bake sale is from 8 to 11 a.m. today. So hurry!
