Sumner County Court Docket: March 12, 2013
by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — The following are a list of criminal court complaints recently filed by the Sumner County Attorney’s office.
These are formal charges introduced into the Sumner County District Court system. The suspects listed in the complaint have not been tried by a judge or jury. All citizens are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

•Lecrisha Bryan, born in 1982, of Caldwell is charged with theft, a felony; and two counts of making false information, a felony.
According to the complaint, Bryan is accused of obtaining cash from Linn Shaffer and the Caldwell Pharmacy by taking cash out of the bank deposits she made and reducing the amount of cash on the deposit slips from the actual cash count.
Bryan is also accused on June 29, 2012 unlawfully making entries in a book of the account with knowledge that information was false. For example, according to the complaint, after making a deposit of $3,333.66 including only $71.88 in cash, she altered the store copy to falsely show that the deposit was made for $3,733.666 including $471 in cash in order to conceal her theft.
She also allegedly did it another time by making a deposit for $898.02 including only $138 in cash. She altered the store copy to falsely show that the deposit was for $1,198.02 including $438. 61 in cash in order to attempt to conceal her theft of $300 in cash.
•Kenna Boyle, born in 1955, of Caldwell, is charged with two counts of misdemeanor theft and one count of felony theft.
Boyle is accused of obtaining $400 in cash from the school vault from the school plays and concession stand money, with intent to deprive the USD 360 of such funds. Boyle is also accused of obtaining $260 in cash from the gate and concession stand money on Nov. 16, 2012, and $1,201 in cash from gate and concession stand money on Oct. 2, 2012.
•Christopher Yoder, born in 1979, of Mayfield is accused of possession of controlled substance, a level 5 drug felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.
•Rebecca Gonzales, born in 1975, of Caldwell is accused of domestic battery, a class B misdemeanor; disorderly conduct, a Class C misdemeanor; domestic battery, a Class C misdemeanor; and disorderly conduct, a Class C misdemeanor.
According to the complaint, Gonzales is accused of repeatedly punching her son giving him a bloody nose in a physical confrontation that disturbed others.
She is also accused of physically striking her boyfriend in the face several times and trying to provoke him into a fight.
•Jeffrey Redford, born in 1978, of Wellington is charged with burglary, a level 7 felony; and theft, a level 9 felony.
Redford is accused of stealing a motorcycle and motorcycle parts from a storage shed owned by Billy Russell.
•Thomas Mann, Jr., born in 1981, of Wellington is charged with criminal damage to property, a Class B misdemeanor; domestic battery, a Class B misdemeanor; criminal restraint, a Class A misdemeanor; possession of methamphetamine, a level 5 drug felony; possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor.
According to the complaint, Mann is accused of damaging window screen, door, and door lock valued at about $50. He then allegedly pushed his girlfriend in which she fell on a glass tabletop.
She then, according to the complaint, she was afraid and tried to leave by the front door he blocked and would not let her go. He allegedly grabbed her by the throat saying, “maybe your boyfriend will save you.”
Mann is also accused of having in his possession methamphetamine in a syringe and meth in a baggy inside a yellow bag; as well as marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
•Patricia Reyes, born in 1988, of Wellington is accused of driving while suspended, a Class B misdemeanor; failure to provide proof of insurance, a Class B misdemeanor; possession of methamphetamine, a level 5 drug felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a Class A misdemeanor.
According to the complaint, Reyes is accused of driving a white Chevy Cavalier during a time when her driving privileges were canceled, suspended or revoked. Allegedly, she failed to provide proof of insurance, possessed a narcotic drug known as methamphetamine; and powder bags and pipes to introduce a controlled substance into the human body.
•Jason Matthews, born in 1983, of Hutchinson is charged with theft, a level 9 felony; and theft, a Class A misdemeanor.
According to the complaint, Matthews is accused of unlawfully obtaining a 1998 GMC pickup from Mitch Gumble and then a license plate from Steve Horsch.
•Miguel Ibanez, born in 1985, of Wellington is charged with aggravated assault, a level 7 felony; possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, a level 4 drug felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, a level 5 drug felony; no drug tax stamp, a level 10 felony; and criminal possession of a firearm, a level 8 felony.
In the complaint, Ibanez is accused of using a handgun to feloniously possess methamphetamine with intent to sell, deliver or distribute. He is also accused of possessing drug paraphernalia and not having an official drug tax stamp that shows evidence the tax to sell the drug has been paid.
