Sumner County Economic Development Commission asking to promote Susanna Salter, first woman mayor
Submitted to Sumner Newscow — The Sumner County Economic Development Commission is starting a campaign to get Susanna Salter’s picture on the new $10 bill.Â
The theme is democracy and her being elected as the first woman mayor of the United State from Argonia and possibly the world makes her a great candidate for this honor, said Janis Hellard, SCEDC Director.Â
