Sumner County Emergency Management office warns of severe weather tonight from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Sumner Newscow report – The Sumner County Emergency Management office warned that severe weather could threaten the county this evening. The main concern is significant damaging winds of 70 to 85 mph plus possible large hail, brief tornado and minor flooding as a threat.
The National Weather Service issues the following warning: “As the complex of storms tracks east out of western Kansas, it will accelerate into south-central Kansas before turning more ESE as it continues into southeast Kansas.
