Sumner County has 4 representatives at the eight-man All-Star Game in Beloit
Sumner Newscow report — Four Sumner County players participated in the Kansas Eight-Man All-Star game in Beloit, held Saturday, June 12.
Trey Strnad and Jude Stow of Caldwell and Cooper Wolf of South Haven played for the Division II West squad. Noah Phillips of Argonia, a tight end, played for the Division 1 west team. His teammate Blake Goodman of Attica, a linebacker/defensive back, also played for the West squad. Both boys played for the Argonia-Attica Titans last season.
The all-star game featured the best graduating senior eight-man players from across the state of Kansas.
