Sumner Court Docket: May 10, 2017 report

These are formal charges introduced into the Sumner County District Court system. The suspects listed in the complaint have not been tried by a judge or jury unless specified otherwise. All citizens are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

State of Kansas v. Jarrod Scott Miller — Case No: 18 CR 69

Date of birth: 1981. Address: Wellington.

Date of alleged crime: March 11, 2018

Charges:

Count 1: Driving while suspended, Class A misdemeanor.

Count 2: Driving while habitual violator, Class A misdemeanor.

Count 3: Possession of drug paraphernalia, Class B misdemeanor.

Case description: Miller is accused of driving with a suspended license after being convicted for having no insurance. He also allegedly had a “one hitter” box that is used to store marijuana, and possessing a pipe that was painted to look like a cigarette, but is used to inhale marijuana.

State of Kansas v. Jose Guitierrez-Yanez — Case No: 18 CR 70

Date of alleged crime: March 12, 2018

Charges:

Count 1: Possession with intent to distribute cocaine, level 2 drug felony.

Count 2: Interference with law enforcement, level 9 felony.

Case description: Guitierrez-Yanez is accused of having 100 grams of cocaine in a 2006 Suzuki that he drove to the Belle Plaine Service area on I-35.

State of Kansas v. Everett Fleming — Case No: 18 CR 71

Date of alleged crime: March 5, 2018

Charges:

Count 1: Possession of methamphetamine.

Count 2: Possession of marijuana.

Count 3: Possession of paraphernalia.

Count 4: Interference with law enforcement.

Case description: Fleming is accused of having an in-state extradition for an outstanding warrant in Cowley County. Allegedly, he was riding a silver bike belonging to Shawn Janney at the Dollar General Store in Wellington. When apprehended by the Wellington Police, Fleming allegedly had a small piece of rolled up tissue in a front watch pocket with a small clear plastic bag containing a crystal substance known as methamphetamine, and in another pocket had a small bag of marijuana and a small wood pipe with burnt residue.

State of Kansas v. Dylan Hay — Case No: 18 CR 72

Date of alleged crime: March 5, 2018

Charges:

Count 1: Violation of protective order, Class A misdemeanor.

Count 2: Criminal threat, level 9 felony.

Count 3: Criminal damage to property, Class B misdemeanor. 

Case description: Hay is accused of violating a personal recognizance bond with a special condition that he has no contact with a specific person. On March 8, allegedly, he returned to her apartment, entered without permission, called her names and threatened her. He then allegedly made a threat on her life while holding up a box knife, and punched a hole in the bathroom door.

State of Kansas v. Michael Sanders — Case No: 18 CR 73

Date of alleged crime: March 10, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Theft , level 9 felony.

Count 2: Eluding police officer, level 9 felony.

Count 3: Possession drug paraphernalia, Class B misdemeanor.

Case description: Sanders is accused of stealing a 2004 Toyota and other property in a trailer it was pulling. He then allegedly didn’t stop when a police car showed visible signs for him to do so. Once apprehended he allegedly had a glass smoking pipe in the center console of the Toyota and had a suspended driver’s license. He also had an outstanding felony arrest warrant.

State of Kansas v. Roy Hyde — Case No: 18 CR 74

Date of birth: 1993. Address: Bartlesville Okla.

Date of alleged crime: March 8, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Interference with law enforcement, Class A misdemeanor.

Case description: Hyde is accused of running away on foot from a Sumner County officer after being advised he was under arrest for a warrant out of Bartlesville, Okla.

Charges:

Count 1: Possession methamphetamine, level 5 drug felony.

Case description: Bauer is accused of laying a bag of meth on the ground beneath his cell phone.

State of Kansas v. Augustus Hart — Case No: 18 CR 77

Date of alleged crime: March 17, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Theft, level 7 felony.

Count 2: Eluding police, level 9 felony.

Count 3: Speeding 92 mph in 75 mph zone, traffic infraction.

Case description: Hart is accused of stealing his father’s business truck, worth $30,000, from his residence in Wellington. He then allegedly drove onto U.S. 160 and then I-35 even though police officers told him to stop. He would reach speeds of 92 mph in a 75 mph zone, allegedly.

State of Kansas v. Mason Eckermann — Case No: 18 CR 78

Date of alleged crime: March 3, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Criminal damage to property, Class B misdemeanor.

Count 2: Disorderly conduct, Class C misdemeanor.

Case description: Eckermann is accused of throwing a glass on the floor and punching a hole in the wall as he was leaving the Last Chance Bar and Grill in Caldwell. He also allegedly kicked in his own windshield of his ehicle in the parking lot and cussing loudly at patrons.

Date of alleged crime: March 18, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Possession marijuana, Class B misdemeanor.

Count 2: Possession drug paraphernalia, Class B misdemeanor.

Case description: Gourley is accused of having possession of marijuana in the vehicle in which she was a passenger. Marijuana was found in a glass container and a bag between the seats of her vehicle, allegedly.

Date of alleged crime: March 18, 2018.

Count 1: Failing to maintain single lane.

Count 2: Driving while suspended or revoked, Class A misdemeanor.

Count 3: Driving under the influence, Class A misdemeanor.

Count 4: Possession methamphetamine, level 5 felony.

Count 5: Possession marijuana, Class B misdemeanor.

Case description: Johnson is accused of swerving into 2 lanes while on I-35. Once stopped, Johnson allegedly was under the influence of a drug or combination of drugs, had a suspended drivers’ license, possessed methamphetamine in a clear glass tube in his pocket and a bag of marijuana in the center console.

Count 1: Dog attack violation, misdemeanor.

Count 2: Determing civil, vicious dog, misdemeanor.

Count 3: Dog at large, infraction.

Case description: Horn is accused of having a mixed-breed black lab-pit bull that went into the neighbor’s yard and attacked a terrier causing fatal injuries.

Date of alleged crime: March 19, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Violation of protective order, Class A misdemeanor.

Case description: Hay is accused of violating a Wellington Municipal Court protection order which stated he was to have no contact with a specific woman, only to be found with her after neighbors reported a shouting match at Michigan Apartments.

Date of alleged crime: March 21, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Criminal damage to property, Class B misdemeanor.

Case description: Bacon is accused of damaging a dining room light fixture, a door, a door frame and knocking a hole in the drive wall without the consent of the owner.

Case description: Kerby is accused of having a clear bag containing marijuana in his front left pocket.

State of Kansas v. Cecil Chisholm III — Case No: 18 CR 88

Date of birth: 1963. Address: Arkansas City.

Date of alleged crime: March 4, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Criminal damage to property, level 9 felony.

Count 2: Reckless driving, unclassified misdemeanor.

Case description: Chisholm III is accused of driving his white pickup onto a walking trail through two closed gates, a shooting pavilion, gates posts, and fence all valuing greater than $1,100.

State of Kansas v. Kody Wade Bacon — Case No: 18 CR 90

Date of birth: 1996 Address: Caldwell.

Date of alleged crime: March 26, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Criminal damage to property, level 9 felony.

Count 2: Reckless driving, unclassified misdemeanor.

Case description: Bacon is accused again of damaging a door and door frame at the house located 129 W. 175th St. in Caldwell, causing approximately $1,500 in damage. He also allegedly, entered the land without the authority of the owners and in defiance of a temporary order of protection from abuse.

State of Kansas v. Daniel Evans — Case No: 18 CR 91

Date of birth: 1988 Address: Wichita.

Date of alleged crime: March 25, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Ignition interlock violation, Class A misdemeanor.

Count 2: Driving under the influence, Class B misdemeanor.

Count 3: No driver’s license, Class B misdemeanor.

Count 4: Interference with law enforcement, Class A misdemeanor.

Case description: Evans is accused of driving a vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 or more while not using an interlock advice that he was required to use by law. He then allegedly physically resisted being arrested and being handcuffed. He also had Sedgwick County arrest warrants for driving under the influence and no driver’s licenses, according to the complaint.

State of Kansas v. Justin Osborne — Case No: 18 CR 92

Date of birth: 1990 Address: Wellington.

Date of alleged crime: March 11, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Theft, Class A misdemeanor.

Count 2: Criminal possession of weapon by convicted felony, level 8 felony.

Count 3: Possession marijuana, Class B misdemeanor.

Count 4: Criminal deprivation of motor vehicle, Class A misdemeanor.

Case description: Osborne is accused of stealing sunglasses at the Wellington Wal-Mart by removing the price tag and putting on his hat. He also allegedly placed paint markers in his pocket. When apprehended, Osborne allegedly had possession of an 8-inch knife he was wearing on his hip which he was supposed to not have because he was on probation after serving a 32-month sentence for a robbery in 2011. He also allegedly had a marijuana cigarette in his possession.

Date of alleged crime: January 28, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Possession of drug paraphernalia, Class B misdemeanor.

Count 2: Possession of drug paraphernalia, Class B misdemeanor.

Case description: Andrews is accused of having a green vapor device which the defendant told law enforcement that he used to inhale methamphetamine into her body. She also allegedly had a syringe hidden in her brassiere.

State of Kansas v. Brian Belveal II — Case No: 18 CR 95

Date of birth: 1988 Address: Mulvane.

Date of alleged crime: March 30, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Tag not assigned to vehicle, unclassified misdemeanor.

Count 2: Driving while suspended or revoked (second offense).

Count 3: Possession methamphetamine, level 5 drug felony.

Count 4: Possession drug paraphernalia, Class B misdemeanor.

Case description: Belveal II is accused of having an illegal tag on a license plate of the Chevrolet truck he was driving. He also allegedly had a suspended driver’s license, methamphetamine inside a green bag in his pocket. He also is accused of stealing a 2012 GMC Sierra truck.

Date of alleged crime: April 1, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Possession of marijuana, level 5 drug felony.

Count 2: Possession drug paraphernalia, Class B misdemeanor.

Case description: Alberts is accused of having a clear bag of marijuana.

State of Kansas v. April Langford — Case No: 18 CR 98

Date of birth: 1987. Address: Caldwell.

Date of alleged crime: February 22, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Battery, Class B misdemeanor.

Count 2: Disorderly conduct, Class C misdemeanor.

Case description: Langford is accused of angrily slapping another woman in the face while in the waiting line for the concession stand at a high school basketball game. Allegedly, the two had exchanged derogatory statements with each other and both engaged in a physical brawl by pushing and slapping until a school official separated them.

State of Kansas v. Tracy Krebbs — Case No: 18 CR 99

Date of birth: 1964. Address: Wichita.

Date of alleged crime: March 31, 2018.

Charges:

Count 1: Theft of a motor vehicle, level 9 felony.

Count 2: Driving while suspended, Class A misdemeanor.

Case description: Krebbs is accused of renting a white GMC U-Haul pickup on Feb. 22 and never returned it until being arrested on March 31, 2018. He also had a driver’s license suspended that included three prior convictions of the crime.
