The big weekend that was in Wellington…
By Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — It was Picture day weekend in Wellington. It started with the annual parade that managed to get pulled off despite the rain. Then Friday there was a football game and the Duchess ceremony. Saturday, the festivities became more community-oriented with the annual Fall Fest and Chili Festival. Saturday evening at Memorial Auditorium, Logan Mize and his wife Jill Martin came to sing. We have all the pictures of the events on our photography site here.
Logan Mize was on hand at the Memorial Auditorium Saturday night.
Chili was the featured delicacy at Memorial Auditorium.
Jordyn Young (with escort Quinn McCue) was crowned the 2019 Duchess of Wellington.
Everyone stayed dry at the annual high school parade.
