The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Wilma
Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Wilma!
Wilma is a beautiful girl that needs some time and patience. She was a scared puppy when she first came in and sadly got adopted by someone who didn’t spend time with her. So we now have her back and know someone out there is willing to give this special pup the time and effort she deserves! She is a very sweet girl with a gentle nature.
Stop in this week to meet this special pet. The shelter is open Wednesday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process. WHS officials go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off cats during their week!
