Update: Male in mid-30s and female in mid 20s were discovered with injuries to head
Sumner Newscow report — The following is a press release provided by the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office:
On Saturday, July 7 at 2:54 p.m. Sumner County Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of East 130th Street for two subjects lying in the road. When the deputies arrived they discovered a male in his mid-30s and a female in her mid-20s with injuries to the head.
Medical personnel were dispatched to the scene and pronounced both subjects deceased. An autopsy was ordered and the bodies were transported to the Forensic Center in Wichita. Investigation is continuing.
