Updated AV-CTL DIV, SCBL standings, roundup of various Sumner games

Girls: South Haven 45 Cedar Vale-Dexter 18 

South Haven improved to 4-3 with an overwhelming win over Cedar Vale-Dexter. Aubrey Pond scored 16 points to lead the Cardinals to victory. Other scorers were: Jacee Theurer 8, Kelly Theurer 7, Anna Shore 4, Adele Hesel 4, Britain Dark 4, Addison Heater 2. South Haven led 16-5 at the end of the first quarter and held a 26-5 lead at the half after posting a shutout in the second quarter.

Boys: Caldwell 65 Pretty Prarie 40

Keiondre Smith, fresh off being named to the Kansas Shrine Bowl, scored 26 points to lift the Bluejays to an easy win over Pretty Prairie. Caldwell led 21-13 at the end of the first and held a 32-19 advantage en route to a win. Other Caldwell scorers were: Teagan Thompson 16, Jackson Risley 13, Christopher Clark 4, Miles Newell 2.

Boys: Chaparral 48 Conway Springs 36 

Conway Springs fell to 2-6 with a loss to the Roadrunners. Chaparral took a 14-6 first-quarter lead and built it to 24-14 at the half, staving off Conway Springs the rest of the way. Taylor Wykes was the leading scorer for the Cardinals with 17 points. Noah Johnson had 8, Eli Howard 7, Grant Fisher 2, and Cade Howell 2.
