Work hands-on in a busy preschool classroom experiencing the joys, challenges, and rewards of early learning! Teaching assistants work roughly 7:30-3:00 pm M-F (except for breaks and summers!). Our staff says they love the kids and being able to teach them. They say some of the tough behaviors kids experience can be challenging. Staff is empowered through training, on-the-job mentoring, and by being part of a close-knit classroom team to teach children how to deal with their big feelings. Teaching assistants may also spend time working one-on-one with children.

Lunch is a highlight of the day. Staff is asked to sit down and eat with the kids. They encourage family-style eating such as passing and serving food, and modeling proper manners and conversation.
