Wellington cross country runner Hunter Lough named Big Cheese Athlete of the Week

by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — Hunter Lough, a Wellington High School senior, has been named Big Cheese Athlete of the Week.
Lough has been tearing up the course. After placing 11th a week ago in the Wellington Cross Country Invitational, he placed third in the Chaparral Invitational Cross Country meet with a 20:21.91 time. He is a Wellington senior and helped the cross-country team to its first state qualification since the late 1980s.
For his effort, Lough is the recipient of a large pizza at Big Cheese Pizza at 324 N. Washington.
