Thursday’s lunch: Stromboli, green spinach salad, baby carrots, pineapple chunks.Â
Friday’s lunch: Sloppy Joe/bun, tortilla chips, sweet potato wedges, baked beans, mixed fruit.
Today’s news:Â
*Circle of Friends will be having an informational meeting Thursday at 1:00pm (6th period) in the auditorium.  If you are interested in being a part of this wonderful organization, plan to attend the meeting.
*Parking permits are now available. You need one if you drive to school. Please stop by the office to get yours today.
*Experience a day in the life of a Shocker! Don’t miss out on Wichita State University’s Junior and Senior Days this fall. At these events you will explore the different academic majors and student involvement opportunities WSU has to offer. Students will also have the opportunity to tour campus and Koch Arena, home of Shocker Basketball. If you are interested in attending, please visit the counseling webpage under Camps, Senior/Junior Days.
*There will be an informational FCCLA meeting tomorrow after school.
*There will be a Crusader Creator meeting tomorrow at 3:30 in the 3D art room.
*Movie club will be showing “Brian’s Song†today at 7:30 pm in room 205. This is a sad movie- make sure to bring some tissues!
*There will be no scholars’ bowl practice this week.
*Any sophomores or juniors interested in taking the PSAT, please see Mrs. Hatfield in the counselor’s office by September 25.
*Students enrolled in Agriculture classes may pay their FFA dues to Mrs. Chase.  Dues are set at $25.00 and need to be paid by Sept. 25.
*There will be a hunter safety clinic offered again this fall here at WHS on September 13 and 14. You must be present both days.  The clinic is free and there will be a free lunch on Saturday sponsored by the FFA Chapter.  You may register online at safehunters.com. If you have any questions please talk to Mrs. Chase.  The clinic is open to anyone that is 11 years or older.
