Sumner Newscow report — The past week has been a wet one. According to the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network rain gauge in west Wellington, we have received 3.47 inches of rain since last Tuesday. This wet weather is supposed to subside (at least a little) this week as weather forecasts are predicting mostly sunny weather as temperatures creep back into the 80s.

Chances of moisture will be ranging from 11 to 24 percent over the next 10 days. It’s highly likely the farmers are ready for some hot dry weather (see 10 days forecast from weather.com here).
