Wellington Heat game has been rescheduled but fireworks display will proceed as scheduled
By Jeremy Jones, Wellington City Director of Public Works — The Wellington Heat game scheduled for tonight has been cancelled due to the wet conditions. The public fireworks display will proceed as scheduled with a start time of 9:15 p.m.
Seating will be available in both the football and baseball stadiums. In lieu of the baseball game, the Wellington Heat will host a viewing party with music, concessions and beer garden from 8 p.m. to the end of the fireworks display.
