Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Charlotte!

Charlotte has been through a lot in her short life! She was originally found in the country with her littermates and rescued. The rescuer worked to find homes for all the kittens, but little Charlotte was the last kitten and quickly grew into a beautiful little lady. She came to the shelter just under a year old to find her forever home. She was shy when she came in but is now in a cat colony and gaining confidence. Charlotte is enjoying volunteers and visitors giving her lots of love as well!

Stop in this week to meet this special cat! The shelter is open Wednesday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off cats during their week!
