Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Beetle
The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Beetle!
This 7-month-old happy boy is Beetle! He was found by a caring individual that took him in as a lost puppy. But sadly, no one claimed him, and his finder’s home was full, so she brought him to the humane society to find his forever home. Beetle wanted to thank his finder for caring for him until he was safely at the humane society! He’s been around dogs of all ages and he is very interested in playing with all of them! Beetle is currently around 40 pounds, so he will be a medium to a large dog once he’s fully grown. He is a super sweet and happy puppy that loves everyone!
Due to it being prom season, the Wellington Humane Society is having a Black Tie Special! All of our black and white animals have a discounted adoption fee during the month of April. Dogs are only $75 and cats are only $10! We have lots to choose from, including our sweet Beetle!
Stop in this week to meet this special pet! We are open Wednesday through Friday 3 to 7 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please fill out the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee ($50 off dogs & $10 off cats) during their week!
