Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Betty
Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Betty.
Betty came in from the pound with her siblings at 6 months old. They were all very shy and scared. Betty has been lucky enough to go to a foster that has been working on basic dog manners and coming out of her shell. She is doing really well, and although she is still a little shy, she is learning how wonderful it is to be loved by humans! She also loves her fur-foster siblings!
Stop in this week to meet this special dog! The shelter is open Wednesday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process. WHS officials will go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $50 off dogs during their week!
