Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Bitzy, the dog
Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Bitzy!
Bitsy is an adorable pity mix. She was originally recused from a bad situation but was too young and playful for the elderly rescuer to keep. She was brought to us so that she wasn’t euthanized and we are working hard to find her the loving home she deserves! Bitzy is 1-2 years old and around 35 pounds. She loves people and all attention! She has participated in playgroups and is learning how to play with others. Help us find the best home for this wonderful and loving dog!
Stop in this week to meet this special dog! The Wellington Humane Society is open Wednesday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $50 off dogs during their week!
