Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Shelter Pet of the Week is Isabella.

Meet Isabella, a beautiful 7-year-old ginger tabby looking for a loving family to call her own! Most ginger cats are male, making Isabella a rare and special find. This sweet girl is in the prime of her life and ready for a fresh start. Sadly, Isabella came to our shelter in rough shape, but after receiving the care she needed and spending time getting healthy, she is now ready to find her forever home.

Isabella currently lives in one of our cat colonies and does well with other cats. She enjoys spending time with her people, watching the world go by from a sunny window, and finding the perfect warm spot to relax. This lovely lady has overcome a lot and deserves a second chance with a family that will love, cherish, and spoil her unconditionally. Could Isabella be the missing piece in your home? Come meet Isabella and see why she’s so special!

Stop in this week to meet this special pet. The shelter is open on Wednesday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process. WHS officials process applications in the order they are received, so the sooner you submit your application, the better. And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off pets during their week!
