Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Rover
Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Rover!
Rover came in last December after being dumped in the country with his siblings. He might have been a skinny puppy when he came in, but he is now a hunk of love at 65 pounds! He is now 1 1/2 years old and still waiting for his happily ever after. Until then, he enjoys playing with his new bestie Lucy, and getting love from the staff and volunteers. He has a shy personality, but don’t let that fool you, because he loves getting attention!
Stop in this week to meet this special dog! The Wellington Humane Society is open Wednesday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please fill out the online application before you come in to speed up the adoption process. We go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $50 off dogs during their week!
