Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Suki.

Suki is a 2-year-old medium mixed breed weighing 40 pounds. She is good with kids and is a loving girl! She enjoys yard time, walks, and just hanging out. She is your all-around good girl! But Suki can be dominant with other dogs, so a home to herself with her people would give her the chance to thrive!

Stop in this week to meet this special pet. The shelter is open on Wednesday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process. WHS officials process applications in the order they are received, so the sooner you submit your application, the better. And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off pets during their week!
