More about Shadow…

Shadow is a 9-month-old, 70 pounds, black lab mix. He is an energetic puppy that is looking for his forever home. When he first came in, he had no idea what a leash was and would freeze whenever a staff member would hook the leash to his collar. Once he saw his sister mastering the leash he thought that it might be time he did the same. You know…don’t want the little sister to show him up! It took him a couple of tries and a lot of treat motivation to get him to even move.

But now when he sees the leash, he knows it is time for a walk and does a great job of walking on the leash. He is a smart pup! His favorite place to lay is just right outside in the shade but close to the doggy door to still be able to feel the coolness from inside. Shadow would really love to meet you and if you have another dog, he would love to see if they are compatible. He told the staff to tell you that he will be waiting for your application to come through and for you to come and meet him!!
