Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Martin!

Martin is a handsome 2-3 year old Labrador mix weighing 47 pounds. Martin was fostered for a few months so we’ve been able to learn a lot about him. He is very loving and he would enjoy someone who can give him lots of their attention. He has lived with cats and other dogs and does well with proper introductions. He is very affectionate and loyal! He will require a fenced yard because he feels the need to socialize around the neighborhood. Stop in and meet Mr. Chatty Cathy this week!

Stop in this week to meet this special pet. The shelter is open Wednesday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process. WHS officials go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off cats during their week!
