Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington Humane Society Pet of the Week is Tank!

Tank is a bit of a shy guy, but a big sweetheart! He is currently in one of the shelter’s cat colonies and enjoys the other cats and visitors. Tank would make a wonderful companion for someone interested in a cat with a laid-back personality and lots of love to give! Tank has been with us longer than other cats, so his adoption fee is fully sponsored to an approved applicant. For more information click here: www.wellingtonhumanesociety.org/cats

Stop in this week to meet this special pet. The shelter is open Wednesday through Friday, 3 to 7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you are interested in adoption, please complete the online application before entering to speed up the adoption process. WHS officials go in order of application received, so the sooner you get in your application, the better! And don’t forget, the Pet of the Week has a discounted adoption fee of $10 off cats during their week!
