Wellington places second in Patriot League Scholar’s Bowl for both 7th, 8th graders
Sumner Newscow report — Both the Wellington seventh and eighth grade teams placed second in the Patriot League Scholar’s Bowl held in Wellington.The team results are as follows:
Seventh grade:
1. Clearwater 5-0
2. Wellington 3-2. Wellington won the head to head tie breaker against Rose Hill.
3. Rose Hill 3-2
Eighth grade:
1. Mulvane 5-0
2. Wellington 3-2 – won the tie breaker of most total points 285.
3. Clearwater 3-2- won the head to head tie breaker over Haysville West.
4. Haysville West 3-2.
