Wellington Police Notes: Monday, August 8, 2016

•12:22 a.m. Joseph L. Elliott, 32,Wellington was arrested, confined and bonded for an assault charge.

•6:01 a.m.  Officers investigated a theft in the 100 block of W. Hillside.

•10:23 a.m. Officers investigated a theft of an adult tricycle in the 900 block of N. Woodlawn.

•10:35 a.m. Leta N Logan, 56,Caldwell, was issued a notice to appear charged with speeding 35 mph in a 20 mph zone.

•1:55 p.m. Joseph A. Newman, 31, Wellington was issued a notice to appear charged with defective brake/tail lights.

•2:45 p.m. Tami L. Dillon, 37, Wellington was issued a notice to appear charged with illegal registration for expired tag.

•3:20 p.m.  Dustin C. Dockery, 27, Wellington was issued a notice to appear charged with speeding 48 mph in a 20 mph zone.

•4:42 p.m. Officers investigated a theft of a bicycle in the 1500 block of N. C.

•5:55 p.m. Juvenile, 17, Wellington was issued a notice to appear charged with disobeying a stop sign.

•10:41 p.m.  Officers investigated a runaway child in need of care in the 200 block of N. Keys. The child was eventually located.
