Wellington Police notes for Monday, October 20, 2014
•12:40 a.m. Officers investigated fleeing or attempt to elude, reckless driving, obstruction of law enforcement officer, failure to yield at stop sign, official traffic control devices, improper driving on laned roadway, improper turn, seatbelt violation, unsafe turning and defective use of horn in the 1700 block E. Lincoln, Wellington by a known driver.
•8:15 a.m. Officers took a report of suspicious activity in the 200 block S. 21st, Wellington.
•11:19 a.m. Officers investigated a theft in the 300 block S. Ash, Wellington.
•12:28 p.m. Eric P. Rhodes, 45, Wellington was arrested and confined on a Sumner County bench warrant for failure to appear.
•12:29 p.m. Officers took a report of suspicious activity in the 200 block W. Botkin, Wellington.
•2:04 p.m. Officers investigated domestic battery and the criminal damage to property by a known suspect in the 1400 block E. Michigan, Wellington.
•5:54 p.m. Officers conducted a courtesy motor vehicle accident report involving a vehicle operated by David M. Cook, 33, Wellington and a fixed object/curb stops owned by Clark Manufacturing, Wellington.
•10:35 p.m. Officers investigated driving while license is suspended by a known driver in the 300 block N. G, Wellington.
•10:35 p.m. Jeanne L. Escobar, 43, Wellington was issued a notice to appear for driving while license is suspended.
