Wellington Police notes: Tuesday, February 16, 2016

•1:42 a.m. Officers investigated operating a motor vehicle without insurance and defective headlamps in the 1700 block E. 16th, Wellington.

•1:45 a.m. Steven M. Roberts, 32, Aurora, Mo. was arrested, charged and bonded with operating a motor vehicle without insurance and defective headlamps.

•8:09 a.m. Officers investigated driving while license is suspended, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, defective muffler and expired vehicle registration in the 500 block E. 16th, Wellington.

•8:22 a.m. Anthony P. Altis, 22, Wellington was arrested, charged and bonded with driving while license is suspended, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, defective muffler and expired vehicle registration.

•11:20 a.m. Officers took a report of suspicious activity in the 1700 block N. H, Wellington which occurred Feb. 15, 2016.

•4:44 p.m. Officers investigated a battery in the 200 block S. Jefferson, Wellington.

•8:44 p.m. Lindsey R. Stone, 30, Lyons, was issued a notice to appear for driver’s license violation and defective headlight.

•9 p.m. Herbert O. Barnes, 65, Wellington was issued a notice to appear for fail to signal.

•9:45 p.m. Tanya J. Hammond, 51, Argonia, was issued a notice to appear for defective headlight.
