Wellington Police notes Wednesday, December 17, 2014

•8:51 a.m. Jeffrey Paul Jackson, 19, Denver, was issued a notice to appear charged with speeding 53 mph in a 40 mph zone.

•11:47 a.m. Officers investigated a theft of checks in the 800 block N. Washington, Wellington.

•11:55 a.m. Roberto C. Reyes, 37, Wichita, was issued a notice to appear charged with speeding 53 mph in a 40 mph zone.

•2:35 p.m. Timothy G. Williams, 44, Wellington was arrested, charged and confined with possession of stolen property, illegal registration, no insurance and failure to signal a turn.

•3 p.m. Non-Injury accident in the 900 block N. B, Wellington involving a vehicle operated by juvenile female, 15, Wellington and a parked and unoccupied vehicle owned by Ryan L. Hilt, Wellington.

•3:05 p.m. Juvenile female, 15, Wellington was issued a notice to appear for improper backing.

•4:30 p.m. Officers took a report of suspicious activity in the 800 block S. Washington, Wellington.
