Be a part of a growing team… the Wellington Sailfish SwimTeam!  Practice runs Monday-Friday, May 20^th-July 19^th.  First IntradSquad Meet is Saturday, June 1^st from 8am-11am at the Aquatic Center.

The Wellington Family Aquatic Center will be open for the summer season beginning Tuesday, May 21^st from 1-7pm daily through August 18^th. Get your Summer Season Family Passes at the WRC now.

The Sumner County Sizzler Tournament for girls 10U-18U will be held Friday-Sunday, May 31^st-June 2^nd. All games will take place at Worden Park.

Adult Co-Ed Softball games begin Tuesday, May 21^st, 6:30 pm at Rock Island Ball Field.

Coaches/Parent meetings will be held at the WRC on Thursday, May 23rd for T-Ball, 6pm and Blastball, 7pm.  Register for both programs by Wednesday, May 22^nd. T-Ball, for 5-6 yr. games start Monday, June 3rd at Jefferson Park.  Blastball for 3-4 year olds will be held at the Eisenhower School field, games start on Wednesdays, June 5th.

Youth Coach Pitch games for 7 & 8 year olds start Monday, June 3rd at Worden Park.

Air Rifle Classes will be held at the Armory on Saturdays, May 25^th-June 22^nd from 9:30-11:30am.

Guard Start will be held on Friday, May 31^st from 11am-noon at the Aquatic  Center. Guard Start is Jr. Aide training for assistance with Swim Lessons. Must be 12 years old or Level 6 skills.

Goju-Ryu Karate, taught by Fourth Degree Black Belt, Steve Reynolds will start summer sessions, June 1^st -29^th on Tuesdays, (7:30-9:30pm) and Saturdays, (10-11:30am) at the WRC.

Activities/Programs starting June 3rd

Wellington Recreation Swim Program lessons Session 1, Mondays-Thursdays, June 3^rd-13^th at the Aquatic Center. Two times will be available; 10-10:45am or 11-11:45am.

The following Aqua Fitness Classes Session 1 runs June 3^rd-27^th @ the Aquatic Center.

Free style, no instructor classes on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday include; Deep Water Moving and Lap Swimming, 12-12:45pm or 7:15-8pm and Water Walking, 7:15-8pm.  

CT Debbie Murphy will instruct Wild Water on Mondays and Thursdays from 7:15-8pm andSilver Splash Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 12:10-12:50pm.

CT Cindy Tracy will instruct Aqua Zumba on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12-12:40pm andTwilight Aqua Zumba on Wednesdays, from 7:15-8pm.

The following Land Fitness Classes Session 1 runs June 3^rd-27^th at the WRC.

CT Sadie Black will instruct Sunrise Yoga on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:15-6:45am andGentle Yoga on Thursdays,  6:15-7:15pm.

CT Cindy Tracy will instruct Zumba Tone on Mondays, 6:15-7:15pm and Zumba, Mondays and Thursdays, 7:15-8:15pm/

CT Crystal Dawson will instruct Butz & Gutz on Mondays and Wednesdays, 5:30-6:15pm andSilver Sneakers MSROM on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:30-11:15am. Silver Sneakers is an on-going class.

 New!  Junior Golf Camp sponsored by the Wellington Golf Club, Session 1 will be held June 3^rd-19^th at the Golf Course. Three age divisions and times offered; ages 6-9 @ 8-9:15am, 10-13 @ 9:30-10:45am and 14-17 @ 11am-12:45pm.  Sign up at the Golf Course.

Beginning Tennis for 5-10 years will be held Monday-Friday, June 3^rd-7^th @ 9^th St. Tennis Courts from 9-10am.

Tennis Camp for 11 years-8^th grade will be held Monday-Friday, June 3^rd-7^th @ 9^th St. Tennis Courts from 6:30-9pm.

June 4th-7th programs

The Top Pop class will be held at the Elsass Art Center on Tuesday, June 4^th from 1-2:15pm, to make Father’s Day gifts.

Peace Sign Box Ceramics to be held Tuesday, June 4^th from 2:30-3:30pm at the Elsass Art Center.

Mini-Chefs cooking class will be held Wednesday, June 5^th from 11:30am-1pm at the WRC.

Zumbatomic fitness class for 4-14 year olds, first Session will be held on Wednesdays, June 5^th -26^th  from 1-1:45pm at the WRC.

Session 1 of Jazz & Hip Hop, (6:15-7pm) and Tumbling, (7-7:45pm) will be held Wednesdays, June 5^th-26^th at the WRC. The classes are for 3-14 years.

The first trip in the Trip In Town series, Pearly Gaits will be held on Friday, June 7^th @ the Pearly Gaits farm for 4-12 years. Meet at the WRC.
