Sumner Newscow report — According to a local weather recorder, Wellington received about 1.5 inches of snow this morning, but it could be up to 2.5 inches and maybe more if it hadn’t melted because it is above freezing temperatures.
On average, 13 inches of snow equals one inch of rain, so for precipitation purposes, it isn’t a lot.
