Wellington school board to meet tonight for regular June meeting

USD school board meeting report

Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington school board will be meeting tonight for its regular June meeting. Normally, the meeting is held on the second Tuesday, but was moved up to Monday for reasons not determined by Sumner Newscow.

The meeting starts at 7 p.m. Items on the agenda include:

•Consent agenda.

•Renewal of Durham Transportation agreement.

•Elementary instrumental music curriculum (proposal to eliminate fifth grade band). 

•WMS science curriculum proposal.

•Approval of various handbooks, administrative reports and Superintendent’s comments.

•There is an executive session to discuss non-elected personnel on the agenda.
