Sumner Newscow report — The Wellington USD 353 school board will meet tonight at the School administration office at 7 p.m. The agenda is as follows:

•Wellington Recreation Commission Director Cody White will meet with the board.

•The consent agenda will be discussed including personnel employment changes.

•The City of Wellington is asking the school board for permission to start a sewer line extension project which will include a manhole and new sewer line, north along side of the 9th Street baseball Field, headed north to Waldo Street.

•The board will entertain a proposal by George Duncan, the new owner of the Old Junior High Building, to rent the locker rooms at the facility to USD 353 for $700 monthly or $8,400 per year. 

•Wellington Activities Director Brian Buchanan will provide a list of personnel and supplemental contract vacancies that still exist.

•Richard Lawrence will present all updates regarding the Roosevelt Education Center.

•Zachary Lawrence will present the USD 353 crisis plan.

•As usual, the board will hear administrative reports, issue their own concerns, and go into executive session for non-elected personnel.
