Wellington Senior Center needing volunteer drivers for Friendship meals
by Tracy McCue, Sumner Newscow — The Wellington Senior Center is looking for volunteer drivers to drive the company van and deliver friendship meals to shut-ins in the community.
Each day a meal goes out to 40 homes each day for those who are unable to leave their homes or are suffering sickness. This program is part of the Meals on Wheels program through the Wellington Senior Center. Paul Weber of Wellington, who assists with the delivery of the meals said there is needs for a substitutes and sub-drivers especially on Wednesday.
