Wellington Street Department to mosquito spray twice a week
Submitted to Sumner Newscow — In response to the increase in the number of mosquitos, the Wellington Street Department will begin spraying each section of town twice each week, rather than once, effective immediately.
The city will utilize both morning and evening times provided the wind speed is 10 mph or less to ensure effectiveness of the treatment. The schedule will continue until such time that the mosquito population decreases.
Please contact the street department at 620-326-7831 with any questions.Â
