Wellington’s Grace Mitchell featured in this morning’s Wichita Eagle; huge league game tonight
Grace Mitchell
Sumner Newscow report — The undefeated Wellington girls basketball team has been getting plenty of press this season, especially Crusader senior Grace Mitchell, who was featured in this morning’s Wichita Eagle and its high school website varsitykansas.com (see story here).
The story comes before Wellington’s big road test against Circle tonight. This could set the stage for an Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail League Div. IV title, something that the Lady Dukes have never achieved. Both teams are currently 3-0 in the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League Div. IV.
Circle is currently 5-1 after beating Mulvane 45-29. Tip-off is at 6 p.m. The boys will follow around 7:30 p.m. Sumner Newscow will be featuring live tweets. The game can be heard on 93.5 KWME-FM.
