*Tennis will be dismissed at 2:10 today. They will be marked activity.
*Crusaders to the Capitol will have a mandatory meeting in room 206 right after school today. It will take less than 10 minutes.
*Students interested in traveling to Spain – there will be a meeting Tues. Sept 22 at 7:30 a.m. in the 3D art room to vote on which trip we want to pursue. If you cannot attend but plan on traveling please let Mrs. Groom know which trip you are interested in. Students that sign up by Oct. 31 will receive a $200 discount on the trip.
* Seniors: If you are interested in attending Fort Hays State University, 2016-2017 Freshman ACT/SAT Scholarship Awards are available. The priority deadline is November 15, 2015 and the final deadline is February 15, 2016. You can visit their website @ www.fhsu.edu/finaid for more information. There is also additional information on a poster which is located on the bulletin board outside the nurses’ office.
*Any senior interested in learning more about cosmetology, the Paul Mitchell School of Wichita will be having an open house on Wednesday, September 23rd from 6-8 pm. Please RSVP to lfellers@pmtswichita.com. There is also a poster on the bulletin board outside the nurse’s office with more information.
*The Department of Leadership Studies at Fort Hays State University would like to invite high school juniors and seniors to experience college for a day. Not only will you get a sneak peek of what a college class is like, you’ll get the inside scoop about college life and studying Organizational Leadership from a student who’s already at Fort Hays. There are two days which you may select from, October 27 or November 4. Please register  by October 20 at www.fhsu.edu/leadership or by calling 785-628-4303. You will need to provide your own transportation.
*If you are interested in attending the Chad Cargill ACT workshop, please bring $10 to the counselors office by September 30th. The workshop will be on October 2 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
*September 14 through November 11 all student-athletes seventh through 12th grades, will be given the opportunity to attend Core-Strengthening Yoga on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 6:40 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. at the middle school gym.
*There will be a Hunter Safety Course on September 26 and 27 at WHS. You can register online at www.usd353.com. Just click on the Hunter Safety course on the third page.
*WHS Work Ethic Program will meet on Wednesday, October 7 from 11:30-12:30 in room 411. Bring a lunch!
*Football players- you can turn in your $2 in the office for the football signs.
