*Classic Movie Club will be showing the movie “Treasure of the Sierra Madre” Tomorrow at 3:15 in Room 205.
*The Scholars’ Bowl team that went to Douglass last week needs to meet with Mrs. House after school today for 5 minutes.
*The ENTIRE scholars bowl team MUST attend practice on Wednesday, unless you out for a winter sport.
*This week WHS student council will be sponsoring the annual “Can the Teacher” food drive. During the week students may bring nonperishable food items to any of their classroom teachers. The teachers that receive enough cans to fill the doorway up to the door handle will be considered “canned” for that Friday, and will not be allowed to teach. All food collected will be donated to the Wellington Food Bank. All donations must be given by the end of the school day Thursday. Please keep in mind that the purpose of this drive is to help local families in need.
*Seniors have received information regarding the local scholarship application. The deadline for this application is January 11, 2017 at 3:00 pm. Last year over 30 scholarships totaling around $60,000 were awarded to graduation seniors. Also, to be eligible for the selection of the technology giveaway by Steve Sturgis, the graduation senior must complete this application. Only those that do will have an opportunity to receive a laptop at Class Night in May.
*Students- If you are planning to participate in a winter sport and do not have a physical form and concussion form on file, you will need to do this before you are allowed to practice. You may pick up the forms from Mrs. Yates in the counselors office.
