Today’s lunch — Pizza, Tossed Salad with Romaine, Bread Stick, Marinara Sauce, Applesauce and Milk.

Tuesday’s lunch — Taco Burger with Bun, Romaine and Tomato, Refried Beans, Mandarin Oranges, Tostitos and Milk.

Today’s News:

*If you are interested in being in Leadership class next year, pick up an application in the office. It will be due Thursday, March 10th. There will be a collection box in the office. Applications will be evaluated and then the interview process will begin. Applications will be interviewed by Mrs. Defore and the senior leadership students before or after school, following spring break. Applicants must be a student in good standing with no D’s or F’s and a GPA of at least 3.25.

*There will be a bus going to Salina on Wednesday for Students only. Cost is $10 and you can sign up in the counselors office. There are 40 spots total! You will still have to purchase your $8 ticket to get in to the game.

*NHS will meet on Thursday, March 10th at 7:30 in the auditorium.

*NHS is hosting a blood drive on Wednesday, March 23rd in the small gym from 8:30-2:30. Sign-up in the office or during lunch with an NHS officer to donate blood for the American Red Cross.

*BPA is sponsoring a Big Cheese Fundraiser on March 9th during lunch. Each slice is $2 and pop will be 50 cents. All proceeds help BPA go to nationals in May. Thanks in advance!

*There will be a meeting for the Clay Target Club Today at 7pm in the auditorium. Parents need to attend this meeting.  We will be selecting the team that night.  Remember that we can only have 20 members on the team. If you want to be on the team you and a parent need to be present tonight.

*Seniors: Jostens will be here on March 23rd during the three lunches to deliver your orders.

*Project Prom is alternating venues between the High School and an off-site venue.  This year project prom is at All-Star Sports. There will still be the same great prizes but with new activities. Please visit their website at www.wgtnprojectprom.wix.com/projectprom  for more information.

*Senior Girls: Just a reminder that the Beta Sigma Phi Scholarship application is due into the counselors office by Thursday March 10th.

*WHS will be doing a school unity lip dub video. If you wish to lip sync in a club, sport or activity that you are a member of-please sign up in the office. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Defore in room 208.
