Today’s News:

*Work Ethic will meet this Thursday during 5th hour in room 107.

*BPA is sponsoring a mock presidential election during lunch today. Please go to the table that’s set up and cast your vote.

*BPA- Due to an assembly during Crusader Connections tomorrow, we will meet right after school tomorrow. It’s VERY Important that ALL members attend!

*If you enjoy performing, dance and throwing random objects in the air? …then Winter Color Guard might be the activity for you. There will be an informational meeting this Thursday after school in room 110. Any WHS student is welcome to attend and there is no experience necessary.  Feel free to bring a friend!

*There will be a power lifting meeting immediately after school tomorrow in the weight room.

*There will be a Girls Tennis banquet at 6 pm on Thursday in the high school commons.

*Volleyball Girls: Don’t forget about the team dinner tonight at 6pm at Washington Elementary.

*Seniors have received information regarding the local scholarship application. The deadline for this application is January 11, 2017 at 3:00 pm. Last year over 30 scholarships totaling around $60,000 were awarded to graduation seniors. Also, to be eligible for the selection of the technology giveaway by Steve Sturgis, the graduation senior must complete this application. Only those that do will have an opportunity to receive a laptop at Class Night in May.

*There will be a Boys Basketball  meeting on Thursday right after school in the commons.

* There will be a girls basketball meeting on Thursday at 3:30 in room 101.

*Students- If you are planning to participate in a winter sport and do not have a physical form and concussion form on file, you will need to do this before you are allowed to practice. You may pick up the forms from Mrs. Yates in the counselors office.

* The Teaching as a Career class is having a clothing drive for Cowley County Community College. You can bring gently used clothes to your Cru Con class thru November 9th. The class with the most clothes will win a breakfast party!   Mrs. Chase is in first place!
