Today’s News:
*The next work ethic meeting will be held in the choir room on Friday, December 8 during Cru Con.
*Sophomores: Don’t forget to bring your class ring packets tomorrow. You will turn the packets in during your lunch.
*Congratulations to Austin Harriger and Austin Fink who qualified for State Debate over the weekend! Their next competition will be in Coffeyville on January 12th and 13th for the State Debate Tournament.
*Seniors: Please remember the deadline to turn in your completed local scholarship application along with the other documents required is Friday, December 15th by the end of the day. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the application process, please see someone in the counselor’s’ office.
*Seniors: If you have not ordered your cap and gown for graduation, Chris Curtis from Jostens will be here on Tuesday, December 5th during the three lunches. Please turn in your order that day or if you have questions you may visit with him.
*Classic Movie Club will be showing the movie “ My Fair Lady” on Tuesday, December 5th at 3:15 in room 205. Everyone is welcome. Bring a Friend!!
*A Crusader Carol is a Holiday Fundraiser concert presented by WHS Crusader Choir and WHS Crusaders of the Stage. It will be presented at WHS in the Auditorium at 6pm on December 7th and 8th. There is NO dinner this year, so we are asking for a minimum donation of $5 per person which will automatically put you into a drawing for prizes. For every dollar donated after $5 you will be entered again. This show is a radio Christmas show and will highlight some familiar 40’s and 50’s style music and costume.
*A representative from Cowley College will be here to give a Financial Aid/FAFSA workshop to our student and parents on January 11th at 6pm in the auditorium.
